Staff Sergeant C. E. Moore, 23, visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Moore for the first time 38 months. All but the last eight months of that time he was in Iceland.The last eight months he was stationed in England with signal aviation of the 8th AAF ground force. Moore entered service soon after graduation from North Side High School in 1939. In the picture he appears to be standing in front of a wall, and wearing his uniform.
