Red Cross blood donor center. Sam Daugherty, donor, and Nurses Aid Elizabeth Booner in attendance. Mr. Daugherty is laying on a hospital bed with his arm raised, smiling. Nurse's Aid Elizabeth Booner is holding his arm and placing a bandage over the middle of it, also smiling. Behind them is another nurse's aid and donor by an array of test tubes on a table. This would be Mr. Daugherty's fourth pint of blood donated.
