Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Porter, pioneers of Tarrant & Palo Pinto Counties. Celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary, which took place in Weatherford. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Porter, one of them died at birth. In the picture Mr. & Mrs. Porter can be seen seating on a couch that has a floral pattern. She appears to be wearing a dress with a lace collared and white buttons; M. Porter appears to be wearing a suit. There is a bed in the background.
