Description
Stopping a SPAAF drive in the first quarter, James Cooper and Norman Cox of Texas Christian University (TCU) tackle Gene LeRoy of South Plains on the Frog 40-yard line after LeRoy had pulled in on of Scat Sullivan's passes, which was good for 40 yards. Alert play like this helped the Frogs to a 34-0 victory. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, October 1, 1944.
