"Star-Telegram Photo." Published Star-Telegram Eve. Sept. 25, 1944. One-way vehicular traffic in downtown Fort Worth, Texas on Main and Eighth Street. There is a bus for Polytechnic High School, a truck, several cars, and a dairy truck at the intersection. Several people are crossing at the intersection while the traffic is stopped at a red light. Stores line both sides of the street. The shops include - Washer Brothers, Douglas Shoes, Forrest Ford Clothiers, Diamond Shop, Imperial Hotel, and Fred and Company.
