    Lieutenant Samuel B. Snodgrass is an 11-month veteran of the United States Navy as a B-24 pilot with a photographic reconnaissance squadron in the South Pacific. He is on leave visiting his sister, Mrs. Harold Banks, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Snodgrass. Lieutenant Snodgrass has served with the Navy for 10 years. He holds the Air Medal, the presidential unit citation ribbon, and the Asian-Pacific campaign bar with five stars. Lieutenant Snodgrass is standing in an at ease position, dressed in his military uniform.
