Polytechnic High School football versus Cisco action shot. Scoring his third touchdown of the evening, Poly's backfield ace, George Mitcham, lands in the end zone firmly in the grasp of Cisco's center, Rex Ransomer (underneath the ball carrier). Umpire Roscoe Minton is in the foreground. The parrots won the season's opener, 34-0. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 15, 1944.
