Miss Elaine Daniel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. Daniel, has begun her term as student body president of Texas Wesleyan College. A senior speech major, Miss Daniel is serving as assistant in the department this year. She has been active in student affairs, was elected basketball queen her sophomore year, and last year was selected junior beauty. She directed the winning one act play last year in the inter-class competition. She is a member of the Autiss Social Club, Korosophia, the Speech Majors Club, Thespian, And Alpha Psi Omega. Ms. Daniel is wearing a shirt and blouse in this half length photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 14, 1944.
