Staff Sergeant Mark Flanagan, B-17 tail gunner, is home to spend time with his mother, Mrs. Stella Baldwin. Staff Sgt. Flanagan is wearing his flight jacket "Rabbit Foot" that he wore or carried on all his missions. It is decorated on the outside with his name, the tail gunner's insignia, a tally of his missions, and a pin-up creation on the back. He is standing and posing for a picture. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, September 15, 1944.
