Miss Ruth Spencer, technician in charge at Harris Memorial Methodist Hospital, a graduate nurse who headed the Baylor Hospital fever -therapy department in Dallas for a year. She is shown facing front and standing against a bare wall. She is wearing nurse's uniform and smiling for the camera. Miss Spencer recently completed an advanced course in her work at the Chicago Intensive Treatment Center. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 11, 1944.
