Honored by the Fort Worth, Texas Chamber of Commerce at a dinner at the Fort Worth, Texas Club were Brigadier General E. H. Marks, left, southwest division engineer, United States Army Engineers; and Louis P. Merrill, right, regional conservator, western gulf region, Soil Conservation Service. Sitting between them is Homer Covey, chamber president, who presided. Man at right is unidentified. They are sitting at a table. General Marks is wearing his military uniform and the other men are wearing suits. On the table are various plates, cups, bowls and utensils.
