    Description

    The town of Venus, Texas, owns and operates its own drugstore. A. F. Hughes is employed to operate the community-owned store. He is standing in front of a shelf of supplies. Mr. Hughes is wearing a button-up shirt tucked into trousers. He has a pencil in his shirt pocket. In front of Mr. Hughes there is an Ajax comb display advertising new "Pearl Essence" colors for 19 and 23 cents.
