    Description

    Lieutenant Floyd E. Swain, Marauder bombardier of the 9th Air Force in England, was killed in action, July 6. Overseas since January, he had been awarded the Air Medal and seven clusters. His widow is the former Miss Letha Huff and his mother is Mrs. Katy Swain. He has two other brothers in the service, Sergeant Robert A. Swain serving with the Army Air Corps, and Warrant Officer M. F. Swain, in Italy. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 28, 1944.
