Pictured just before they left for the first visit to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by the Red Cross Mobile Blood Donor Unit of Fort Worth, Texas are, left to right, Mrs. Alma Boone, supervisor of nurses; Lieutenant Philip von Rohr Heise, Marine Corps, medical director of the Fort Worth, Texas Red Cross Blood Donor Center; and Miss Marifrances Lane, Red Cross Motor Corps driver. The group is standing outside preparing to enter their vehicle. Mrs. Boone is wearing a dress, Lieutenant von Rohr Heise is wearing his military uniform and Miss Lane is wearing her Red Cross uniform.
