Standing in front of a locomotive of the Amarillo Forty and Eight veterans association are, left to right, Henry Teubel of Tulia, Texas, Oscar Lamp of Tucson, Arizona, national commander of the organization, and Lou Roberts of Borger, Texas, state commander. The veterans will attend the Texas Department, American Legion, conference. Mr. Lamp and Mr. Roberts are wearing suits and Mr. Teubel is wearing a button down shirt, trousers and a tie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 16, 1944.
