Description

"Accident at Rehearsal," a painting by Bror Utter, member of the Fort Worth Circle and one of the exhibitors in the "Six Texas Artists" show scheduled to open in the Wehye Gallery in New York. The painting shows an accident in the high wire act, where 2 injured performers are being cared for by other performers on the floor. There are 3 nuns coming to aide, one on the telephone, one providing a drink, and another assisting. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 17, 1944.
