Terry Nail, petty officer of the United States Navy, sent his father, Mr. R. T. Nail of Fort Worth, Texas, a newly manufactured tire made entirely of natural rubber. Terry is shown in a portrait wearing his military uniform. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 12, 1944.
