Second Lieutenant William E. Massey, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Massey, 3621 Modlin, is home on leave from Victorville, California, where he is taking P-39 training. He received his wings June 27 at Williams Field, Arizona. He is shown standing against a bare wall and smiling for the camera. He is wearing his military uniform. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 28, 1944.
