    Description

Mrs. Tex Bevil and her five-month-old daughter, Carmen, are posing with a framed picture of Private Tex Bevil, who is stationed in England. Private Bevil served with the Marine Corps from 1937 to 1941. In 1942 he enlisted in the Air Force and has been overseas since October. He has never seen his daughter, and looks forward to being sent her picture. Mrs. Bevil and Carmen reside with the former's mother, Mrs. J. F. Griffin. Mrs. Bevil is sitting in a chair. She is wearing a polka-dot dress and a feather in her hair. Carmen is sitting on her mother's lap, wearing a dress with lace along the bottom and knit booties.
