Midshipman Johnnie E. Monaghan Junior, left, who is attending the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, and Lieutenant Robert Lee Monaghan, in P-47 school at Richmond, Virginia were home on leave at the same time visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Monaghan. Both are graduated from Arlington Heights High School and attended the University of Texas. The brothers are pictured together in their uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 24, 1944.
