Description

Miss Bobbie Welch is showing H. J. Edens, retiring principal, the report card he signed as her principal when she was in the first grade at Riverside Elementary in 1932. Mr. Edens is dressed in a single-breasted suit, is wearing eyeglasses, and has a chain anchoring his tie. Miss Welch is wearing a linen shirtwaist dress with a tied belt the waist, along with a ring, earrings, and a wrist watch. Clipping:"Miss Bobbie Welch, 2016 Prairie, shows H. J. Edens, retiring principal, the report card he signed as her principal when she was in the first grade at Riverside Elementary in 1932. Monday night as principal of Summer High School Edens presented Miss Welch with her diploma at graduating exercises." Published Star-Telegram Morn. Aug. 2, 1944.
