    The Singing Cowboy Gene Autry is visiting wounded war veterans at McCloskey General Hospital. He is pictured here with two veterans. In this picture they are shown enjoying talking. From left to right, are Lieutenant (Lt.) Ralph S. McGill, paratrooper; Technical Sergeant Gene Autry, and Corporal (Cpl.) Woodrow Brown. Lieutenant McGill and Corporal Brown were paratroopers in the Army Air Force. Sergeant Autry is serving as a transport pilot in the Army Air Force. Lieutenant McGill is seated with two crutches tucked under his right arm with a cigarette in his left hand. Corporal Brown is missing his left hand All three men are wearing military uniforms.
