From left to right, are Lieutenant (Lt.) Ralph S. McGill, paratrooper; Technical Sergeant Gene Autry, and Corporal (Cpl.) Woodrow Brown. Lieutenant McGill and Corporal Brown were paratroopers in the Army Air Force. Sergeant Autry is serving as a transport pilot in the Army Air Force. Lieutenant McGill is seated with two crutches tucked under his right arm with a cigarette in his left hand. Corporal Brown is missing his left hand All three men are wearing military uniforms.
