Description

Mother, Daughter Enjoy Reunion Talking Styles -- Mrs. Elizabeth Passmore, executive secretary and a member of the staff of Lena Pope Home for the last 12 years, and her daughter, Mrs. Jayne Bryant, 20, were enjoying a reunion in Fort Worth but were doing a little bit of arguing about the tilt of their hats and the cut of their jackets. Mrs. Passmore has a preference for the Army khaki and Mrs. Bryant for the Marine green-- exceptionally since they are now Women's Army Corps Private (Wac Pvt.) Passmore and Marine Private First Class Bryant. Private Passmore has two other daughters, Mrs. Delbert Briley and Miss Marianne Passmore. Private Bryant was married to Sergeant Bert Bryant. Mother (right) and daughter are pictured here. They are standing against a bare wall, wearing uniforms and smiling for the camera. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1944.
