Description
Texas Rural Letter Carriers' Association convention was held at Hotel Texas for two- day session. Resolutions calling improvement of rural roads, a report on war bond sales and Americanization activities and election of delegates to the national convention in Cincinnati were among concluding program items of the two day session. Mrs. R. S. Cook of Taft, Texas, was named head of the Ladies' Auxiliary at closing sessions of the two groups at Hotel Texas. She is shown here -- a half bust portrait, wearing a printed dress, earrings, and smiling for the photo. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1944.
