Description

The Fort Worth Army Air Field is raising money for an athletic fund. Proceeds from a recent benefit baseball game sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce are being presented to the athletic fund. Participating in the fundraiser, left to right, are Colonel Henry W. Dorr, Charles J. Snider, and Lieutenant L. D. Meyer. An unidentified man is standing at the far right. Colonel Dorr is the commanding officer of the field. He is dressed in a military uniform. Mr. Snider is the program chairman of the Jaycees. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. Lieutenant Meyer is the assistant director of physical training at the field. He is dressed in a military uniform.
