    Description

Mrs. F. P. Tomlinson, who was adopted as an infant, had been searching for her birth parents for over a decade. The search ended in July of 1944 when Mrs. Tomlinson was reunited with her mother, Mrs. C. E. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was a 17-year-old, recently separated Swedish immigrant when her daughter was born. She left the infant at an Austin, Texas, hospital while she worked to earn enough money to support the child. Mrs. Tomlinson was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. John Bohot. When she was older her adopted parents helped her search for her birth parents. After 34 years, Mrs. Tomlinson met her birth mother. Mrs. Tomlinson is shown standing inside a store. She is wearing a button-up blouse.
