    Description

    Joe Joplin, who will compete in a Model Airplane Contest in Fort Worth, Texas. The model building contest is sponsored by the Fort Worth Aircraft Modelers Association. The competition will be for hand-launched and tow-line gliders. Competitors will be broken into two classes: junior (boys and girls 10-15) and senior (boys and girls over 16). The contest will continue until the championship of the Southwest in gasoline-powered model planes. Joe is shown holding a hand-launched glider.
