Miss Bobby Kirk got caught in Wednesday afternoon's downpour, but she like hundreds of others didn't mind because of the benefits the rain brought. She pulled off her shoes and waded in the curb gutter. Photograph of woman walking in deep puddle of rain water. She is barefoot and holding shoes in her hand. Her clothes and hair are wet. There are cars moving along the street behind her. The street, cars, and sidewalk are also wet. Scene is from downtown Fort Worth. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition July 13, 1944.
