Copy of a portrait photograph of First Lieutenant Kathryn Presley, of the Army Nurse Corps. She was promoted to the rank exactly one year from the date she entered the service, June 21. Lieutenant Presley was stationed at Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was in charge of the orthopedic section of the divisional hospital. She is a graduate of W. C. Stripling High School and Baylor University School of Nursing. Lieutenant Presley is pictured wearing her military uniform.
