    Description

    Thomas Elderidge Frederick, 16 year old boy who tried to rob the Continental National Bank at 1:30 pm. July 6. The boy confessed and his confession was obtained after being questioned at length, first by Detective Chief Grant and later by City Detective Elmer E. Lockard and FBI agent Sid Wolf. The boy was arraigned lat Thursday afternoon before U.S. Commissioner Milam on charges of "attempting to rob the Continental National Bank of $2,500." Frederick's bond was set at $3,000 and he was placed in the county jail. He was an employee at the Convair bomber plant. His mother is Mrs. Madge Howards who resides in Dawson, Texas. Frederick is shown wearing short sleeve shirt and trousers, standing in an office. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 7, 1944.
