Sue Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Moore, left, and Peggy Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Lewis, both are inspecting the W. C. Stripling scholarship medals they were awarded in assembly. Both made straight A's, and made the two highest grades on an examination given 10 students to break a tie for the high grades in all classes to win the annual awards. Published on May 22, 1940.
