Description
These four Swift and Company employees purchased enough bonds to pay for the $9,000 half-track. They are left to right, Joe Koldin, Steve Matusevich, Mrs. Mary Lou Tirk, and John Enos. Mr. Koldin is standing in the vehicle, wearing a suit without the blazer. Mr. Matusevich is dressed in a button-up shirt. Mrs. Tirk is sitting behind the wheel of the Half-Track. Her husband Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Tirk has been missing in action over in Italy since March 11, 1944. Mr. Enos is standing next to the half-track, wearing a dress shirt and trousers.
