Description
Technician Sergeant Harry R. Moore is a veteran of the 36th Division, Italian campaign. He was wounded four times during his overseas service and still carries a piece of shrapnel in his leg. He is home in Fort Worth, Texas, on a furlough to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Moore. Sergeant Moore wears a Purple Heart, Silver Star, and an Infantry Combat Badge. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform. The 24-year-old has two older brothers in the service: Sergeant James R. Moore and Sergeant Ralph E. Moore.
