Miss Margaret Hamma is the world champion speed typist. She is in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of a nationwide tour of war plants and government installations. She is helping secretaries and stenographers increase production on their typewriters and reach their maximum typing speed. Miss Hamma is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She is the first woman in 25 years to hold the world professional championship for typing. She can type 150 words per minute with 12 carbon copies. Miss Hamma is shown standing against a wall with her arms crossed. She is wearing a floral dress and a headband in her hair.
