    Mrs. W. G. Armentrout is shown with collection of souvenirs mailed to her from the South Pacific by her son, Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) Laymond Johnson. Mrs. Armentrout is standing in a room near a table. On the table there are knives, shells, watches, insignia, Army booklets and seashells. She is wearing a dark color dress with lace collar, a necklace and a hat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 14, 1944.
