Description
The Fort Worth Teen Canteen is opening the summer with a Barn Dance. Enjoying a botle of soda at the Canteen soft drink bar, left to right are Miss Lou Smith and Orein Browning. Other teenagers can be seen in the background. Lou is wearing a plaid blouse with a fringed vest. Orein is dressed in striped overalls and a white T-shirt. Both are from Amon Carter Riverside High School. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 11, 1944.
