Description
"Wally," German police dog returned from military service, shown with two members of the family own her, F. A. Norton and Felix Junior (Jr.). They are sitting on a porch. Mr. Norton and Felix sit on either side of Wally. Felix is petting her back and Mr. Norton is holding a small rope attached to her leash. Mr. Norton is wearing a striped tie with a rolled up shirt and a pair of trousers while Felix is wearing a short-sleeve, pocketed shirt with a pair of trousers. Wally served the Army for 19 months. He once dragged her young master to the curb by his diaper when he wandered into the street, has been discharged honorably from the K-9 Corps. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 7, 1944.
