Description

Shown is a miniature scene of Fort Worth 95 years ago. The model of Camp Worth shows seven main log cabins forming a rectangular mall with the flagpole in the middle of the courtyard, was designed by E. P. Haltom in 1924, when the city was 75 years old. To one side of the fort is a road cutting through and a barn structure with a fenced field. The materials used came from pieces of original logs of the old fort, still remaining in the foundation of a house owned by Mrs. E. B. Randle. The model is sitting on a desk, behind it is a shelve of books. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 6, 1944.
