Description
High school youths are soldiers of the home front this summer at the Army Quartermaster depot. Joe Wright (left) of Paschal High and Bob Malone of North Side (shown with raised hammer) are building a pallet outdoors. They are outfitted with a glove and a hammer. There are other youths building pallets around them. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 13, 1944.
