Description

Fred M. Lanter, left, is the national director of safety for the Civil Aeronautics Administration. He is with L. A. Elliott, Civil Aeronautics Administration fourth Region director. Mr. Lanter is pointing out on the globe new flying routes which are shrinking the world's distances. He is wearing a light double breasted suit. Mr. Elliott is holding the globe and wearing a double breast pinstripe suit. The desk is covered in papers, an ashtray, cigarettes, pens, and a stapler.
