Sergeant Norman L. Harper is a B-17 gunner from Denton, Texas. He is on leave after completing twenty-five missions over German territory. Sergeant Harper has an Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was in Fort Worth to visit his mother, Mrs. D. W. Tallifaro. He lives in Denton with his wife, the former Miss Voneta Francile Williams and their one year-old son. Sergeant Harper is leaning on a table, dressed in his military uniform. There is a picture hanging on the wall and a vase of daisies on the table.
