Miss June Carpenter recently married her fiance, Private Francis P. Wertz, in a ceremony at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Reverend C. E. Matthews married the couple and Miss Betty Gosney was the maid of honor. Mrs. Wertz is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. She and her husband will live at Camp Rucker, Alabama, where he is stationed. She is shown standing against a wall, wearing a button-up blouse and a skirt.
