    Description

Left to right, are pilots Lieutenant Glen A. Dow and Captain Hugh D. Dow. They are the twenty-one year old twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Percy A. Dow. Hugh and Glen were both students at North Texas Agriculture College. Hugh left school in 1941, headed to Canada and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) as a cadet. Hugh flew with the RCAF until 1942 when he transferred to the Army Air Forces. Meanwhile, Glen stayed in school to continue his studies. He enlisted in the Air Force and was called for active duty in 1943. He received his wings last week in Douglas, Arizona. The twins are standing against a wall, dressed in their military uniforms.
