    Description

    Captain Wayne Middleton pilots a B-24 Liberator in the European theater. After serving thirteen months overseas, Captain Middleton is home for a thirty-day visit with his wife, the former Miss Anne Mahoney. His group, the "Flying Eight Balls" has been awarded two presidential unit citations. Captain Middleton also holds an Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is a graduate of Arlington Heights High School and the University of Texas where he was a star golfer. Captain Middleton is dressed in his military uniform and relaxing in a striped chair.
