Description
Mr. Board married his wife, Miss Etna Chorn in 1896. She has helped in running the drugstore since they opened it in 1900. When they opened the business it was considered unethical for a druggist to stock anything other than the "standard lines" - drugs, stationary, cosmetics, jewelry, and cut glass. In the last forty-four years, the drugstore business has changed. Mr. Board never wanted to be in the café business, but did have a soda fountain in his store for a short time. After years of long hours, Mr. Board is ready to retire and spend his days fishing in Lake Worth. Mr. and Mrs. Board are sitting on a bench on the porch. Mr. Board is wearing a dark colored suit. He is demonstrating the size fish he caught out at the lake. Mrs. Board is wearing a floral dress and listening to her husband's fisherman stories.
