Description
Lieutenant Robert B. Russell, a B-24 pilot, is home in Fort Worth, Texas after eight bombing missions in the Mediterranean. In the eighth mission, he saw the engine of the B-24 explode midair and he bailed out. He managed to escape enemy territory and made his way back to base. He was just in time to intercept a "missing in action" message to his mother. Lieutenant Russell is a graduate of Paschal High School. He has two brothers in the military while the third is a ROTC student at Paschal. Lieutenant Russell is standing against a wall wearing his military uniform.
