Description

Private First Class Ernest Allen Junior, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Allen Senior is home after a year in the service. Private Allen attended Oregon State College at Corvallis, Oregon for six months studying Russian as a part of the Army Specialized training program. Allen also speaks French and Spanish, and has studied German. When the Army Specialized training program was discontinued Allen transferred to Camp Adair. Private Allen is standing in front of a wall wearing his military uniform.
