Four generations seen surrounding the seventy year old cradle. Seen left to right, is Mrs. B. D. Howard of Tyler, great grandmother; Mrs. Alex A. Abbott, mother, and Mrs. Oscar H. Cresswell, grandmother. In the cradle, is Alex Villarent Abbott Junior. Mrs. Howard is in a belted dress with v-collar, brooch in center, and eye glasses. She has one hand on the back of a chair and the other is resting by her side. She is looking down at her great grandson. Mrs. Abbott is leaning over the cradle and holding the baby partially up. She has on a dress with a large shell necklace. Mrs. Cresswell is leaning over with hands on the cradle. She is making eye contact with her grandson and smiling. She has on a short sleeve dress with a scarf pocket square. Alex Villarent Abbott Junior is in a long sleeve gown. He is staring at his grandmother. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
