Description
Dan Gould, president of Fort Worth Junior Chamber of Commerce, proudly displays trophies collected at state convention. The Fort Worth Jaycees returned from the state convention in Odessa with the longest list of awards ever won by junior chamber of commerce. The Fort Worth delegation headed by Dan Gould, included Travis Young, Duane Platt, Marvin Keith, Howard Carrell and jack Panter. Photograph shows Gould holding the Geissenbier Memorial Plaque for outstanding Texas Junior Chamber for 1933-44. There are five trophies, on table, in front of him. Behind Gould, are 3 rows and seven columns of framed portraits of various men. There is a typewriter on a rolling stand next to the table. Gould is wearing a double breasted suit, shirt, tie and pocket square along with wing tipped oxford shoes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 26, 1944.
