Description

Second Lieutenant Jack M. Plemons, who received his commission and wings at Marfa Army Air Field, is spending a 12 day leave with his mother, Mrs. Mallie Plemons, 4101 E. Rosedale. Accompanying him are his wife, the former Miss Eileen Gillis, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. E. A. Gillis, 831 E. Harvey, and 9-month old son, Jerry. Plemons is a graduate of Polytechnic High School and more student at NTAC and Oklahoma A&M, entered service in February 1943. Plemons is wearing his military uniform in the half length photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 24, 1944.
